Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking an experienced controls engineer to deliver semi-active suspension and chassis controls software and ECUs across multiple programs. You will manage embedded controls software across Pre-PS through OPD while interfacing with powertrain, chassis, and architecture engineers.

The role requires a strong background in ECU D&R, MATLAB/Simulink, and embedded systems, with a collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills to work with global teams on diverse automotive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of ECU D&R experience.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink modeling.
• Embedded systems and microcontroller familiarity.
• Strong circuit analysis fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver semi-active suspension and chassis controls software and ECUs across multiple Ford Racing programs.
• Interface with powertrain, chassis and architecture engineers, and feature owners for cross-program collaboration.
• Manage embedded controls software lifecycle from Pre-PS through OPD.
