Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking a qualified engineer to develop world-class vehicle dynamics simulations and chassis architectures. You will support Ford's race teams, analyze test data, and refine setup and models for multiple high-performance platforms.

The role requires a hybrid schedule with on-site work at the Concord, NC Technical Center, and flexibility for late evenings, weekends, and travel as needed to meet race schedules and company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive suspension design, vehicle dynamics, or vehicle dynamics simulations.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop simulation and DiL simulator models to maximize vehicle dynamics performance.
• Develop race cars and trucks by using simulation engineering tools.
• Integrate simulation/simulator vehicle models, tire models, aerodynamics models, powertrain models.
• Use simulator tools to meet customer and race team needs.
• Run simulator sessions for race team drivers to develop and test race setups.
