Job summary

Student Transportation of America (STA) is seeking a Charter Driver for SchoolWheels Direct in Florida to transport students to events and field trips. In this role you will follow set routes, uphold school bus safety standards, and inspect vehicles daily.

A $500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants, with part-time hours and on-site work. Applicants must hold CDL Class B with Air Brake Passenger and School Bus endorsements, be at least 21, and have a minimum of five years driving

Qualifications

Must be over 21 years old and have CDL Class B with School Bus, Air Brake, and Passenger endorsements.
Minimum of 5 years verifiable driving history and a clean motor vehicle record.
Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and maintain credentials.

Responsibilities

Transport clients to various locations including sporting events and field trips.
Ensure safe transportation of all passengers and safe operation of vehicles and equipment.
Provide friendly courteous service and maintain safety standards and procedures.
Maintain professionalism and complete daily vehicle inspections.
Comply with STA/School Wheels Direct safety operating procedures.
