Job summary

Connect n Care ABA in Charlottesville, VA is hiring Behavior Technicians to support children and families in the Charlottesville area with afternoon and early evening cases. You’ll build a caseload that fits your schedule and may grow into daytime hours.

We provide training and support, including RBT training and certification assistance, plus opportunities for advancement and flexible scheduling. PTO, 401(k), and professional development are offered.

Join our team and support children and families throughout the Charlottesville, VA area. We're currently hiring for afternoon and early evening cases in Charlottesville and surrounding communities.

Choose the community you'd like to serve, and we'll work with your availability to build a caseload that fits your schedule. As additional hours become available, there may also be opportunities to grow into a full-time daytime schedule.

You don't need to be an RBT to get started. We provide the training and support you need to build your skills and grow in the field:

• RBT training provided for eligible candidates

Part-Time to Full-Time Opportunities

Our current need is primarily for afternoon and early evening availability, but part-time team members may have opportunities to transition into full-time schedules as additional hours become available.

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adolescents

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children, healthcare, education, disability services, or a related field is a plus
• Reliable transportation and a valid, clear driver's license
• Availability for afternoon and/or early evening hours
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
• Passion for working with children
• Ability to complete required certifications and training, including First Aid
• Ability to pass required background checks, including FBI and child abuse clearances
• Work authorization in the United States

This position may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, transitioning with clients, lifting materials or items up to approximately 25 pounds, and traveling between service locations, as applicable.
