DFH Commercial, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to oversee door, frame, and hardware projects from contract award to completion.

You will own projects, build strong relationships with customers and vendors, and leverage DFH’s resources to drive successful outcomes. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial construction or door/frames, with a focus on local market growth and leadership potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial door, frame, and hardware estimating or project management; strongly preferred.
• Alternatively, 3+ years of commercial construction estimating or project management experience.
• Established relationships with contractors, subcontractors, or local vendor representatives in the greater Charlotte or Southeast market; strong plus.
• Experience reading architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple active projects at once.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Comsense ERP is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work full-time from our Charlotte-area office.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents, drawings, and specs for doors, frames, and hardware.
• Perform material takeoffs and prepare submittal packages for architect review.
• Negotiate values and scopes with general contractors and owners.
• Write and track material orders through production and shipping.
• Coordinate deliveries with field and installation teams.
• Manage and grow relationships with local contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Troubleshoot issues on active projects and develop solutions to keep work moving.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy and communication.
• Identify opportunities to expand DFH’s relationships and presence in Charlotte and Southeast markets
