Coinbase is seeking a Software Engineer for the Compliance CXAE team in Charlotte, NC. You will own features from design to production, using Golang and React, with cloud-native infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes.

You’ll evaluate third-party tools, collaborate with product, design, security, and data teams, and improve compliance workflows for millions of Coinbase customers. This is an on-site role based in Charlotte.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building web applications with a modern backend language and a frontend framework.
• Experience with Golang, Python, Java, or similar and React/Angular/Vue.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployment (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with distributed systems concepts such as caching, event-driven architectures, or API integrations.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences through documentation or reviews.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end development of user-facing features across the compliance agent platform using Golang, React, and cloud technologies, from design through production deployment.
• Lead assessment, selection, and implementation of third-party tools and vendor integrations.
• Partner with product, design, security, and data teams to deliver cross-functional solutions to complex compliance and CX problems.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-traffic services leveraging event-driven architectures, caching, load balancing, and observability tooling across AWS and Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers on design patterns, coding standards, testing strategies, and deployment best practices.
