Job summary

Logan Regional Medical Center in southern West Virginia is seeking a Charge RN for Women’s Services and Pediatrics. This role supervises patient care delivery, assists in staffing, and serves as a resource and leader for nursing staff.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license in the applicable state (or a compact license), and BLS/PALS/NRP/NIH Stroke certifications within the required time frames.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in applicable state or compact.
• BLS certification within required policy timeframe.
• PALS certification within required policy timeframe.
• NRP certification within required policy timeframe.
• NIH Stroke Certification annually within policy timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing operations during assigned shifts in Women’s Services & Pediatrics.
• Delivers direct patient care using the nursing process per policy and standards.
• Delegates tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff based on competency.
• Supports safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Coordinates staffing and break coverage during shifts.
• Collaborates with supervisors/physicians to resolve care delivery issues.
