Job Summary

The Charge RN - Women's Services is a Registered Nurse responsible for supervising and coordinating patient care delivery within the Women's Services and Pediatrics department. This role provides direct patient care, assists in staffing and administrative oversight during shifts, and serves as a resource and leader to other nursing staff. The charge RN ensures that nursing care is delivered in accordance with hospital policy, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, required

Licenses/Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in applicable state or compact license, required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within time frame required by facility policy
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within time frame required by facility policy
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within time frame required by facility policy
• NIH Stroke Certification annually, within time frame required by facility policy

Experience

• Previous clinical nursing experience in Women's Services or Pediatrics preferred
