Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest is seeking an RN leader to provide leadership and coordination of unit staffing, ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with advanced practice providers and ongoing staff development. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing nursing and support staff, evaluating patient care needs, and supervising staff performance while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 1 year of registered nurse experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
• Ability to lead, educate and monitor staff and ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates nursing and support staff during shifts and participates in performance evaluations.
• Assesses daily patient care needs and assigns workload to ensure appropriate care.
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers to achieve quality outcomes.
• Evaluates patient care effectiveness and addresses issues affecting outcomes.
• Addresses complaints and participates in staff hiring and training when needed.
• Maintains safety and performs other duties as assigned.
