Job summary

Johnson Memorial Health in Franklin, IN is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med/Surg days shift. The role leads staff, coordinates patient care, and ensures adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

A BSN and current Indiana RN licensure are required, with at least one year of Med/Surg experience; PALS preferred and BLS/CPR maintained. The position offers a $5,000 bonus; 72 hours/pay and 0.9 FTE, with opportunities to contribute to policy and quality of care improvements

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Indiana required.
• BSN required.
• One year of experience in Med/Surg or related acute care nursing required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Must maintain current BLS or CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists in interviewing and selecting staff for patient care unit.
• Provides leadership and direction per departmental goals.
• Communicates issues to Manager and supports staff development.
• Administers nursing care and conducts patient assessments and documentation.
• Supervises unit staff and students on shift.
