Job summary

Clovis Community is seeking a Charge Nurse in the Labor & Delivery department to join a close-knit, 16-bed unit known for its welcoming and supportive environment. You will coordinate patient flow, liaise with physicians and families, and oversee safety and regulatory activities across shifts.

The role requires 2 years of L&D RN experience, 6 months in a leadership-capable role, a California RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as staff L&D RN
• 6 months experience as Relief Charge RN or in a team leadership role
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work in California required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association required

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison for the care team with physicians, patients and families.
• Oversee patient safety, quality and regulatory activities each shift.
• Coordinate patient flow and staff assignments.

Responsibilities

As a Charge Nurse in the Labor & Delivery department at Clovis Community, you'll join a close-knit team within a 16-bed unit known for its welcoming and supportive environment. Your role is to be the primary liaison for the care team with physicians, patients, and families. Each shift the oversight of patient safety, quality and regulatory activities flows through you and you’re the one responsible for coordinating patient flow and staff assignments. It’s a tall order and you’re ready to achieve those heights in your career.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a staff L&D RN or demonstrated competency required
• 6 months experience as a Relief Charge RN or in a team leadership role required
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
