Job summary

Trinity Health is hiring a Registered Nurse on a full-time 12-hour day shift in Des Moines, IA. The role focuses on cardiac telemetry (7S) with VAD training opportunities for new grads and experienced nurses alike. Relocation and sign-on bonuses may apply.

The RN will plan and provide professional nursing services, adhere to standards of practice, and advance leadership within nursing practice. Expect participation in mission-driven, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license is required; IL license if working in IL may be required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within three months of hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing services according to experience and education levels.
• Leads and participates in evidence-based nursing practices and patient care planning.
• Maintains collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates leadership and mentoring of nursing staff as a senior RN.

Education
