Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a Night Shift, full-time Medical Surgical Charge Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. The role leads nursing care on the unit and ensures patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, NJ RN license, BLS within 14 days of hire, and at least one year of Medical/Surgical staff RN experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Licensed RN in the State of New Jersey.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• At least one year of experience as a Staff RN on a Medical/Surgical unit is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing care on the Medical/Surgical Unit using the nursing process with leadership skills and accountability.
• Act as an extension of the leadership team (director, manager, nursing supervisor, clinical preceptor, and/or house supervisor) and uphold professional conduct.
