Job summary

Lovelace Health System is seeking a day shift, full-time Medical Surgical RN on the 4th floor in Albuquerque, NM to provide compassionate patient care and lead nursing staff as needed.

Responsibilities include delivering professional patient care, possibly serving as Charge Nurse, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies to maintain safety and quality. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing required.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required by Hiring Department.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

• 2 years of experience in a specialty
• 2 years of general nursing experience.
