Job summary

San Antonio Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as Charge Nurse, directing nursing staff and coordinating resident care. You will develop the plan of care and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants to ensure high-quality outcomes.

This role requires a Texas RN license, BLS/CPR, and a patient-centered approach. We offer walk-in interviews at 1 Heartland Dr, San Antonio, TX 78247, USA, and a full-time schedule including weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state.
• Candidates with a minimum of 2 years in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred but not required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition.
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and state/government procedures are observed.
