Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin in Austin, TX seeks a Night Shift Full-time nurse leader for Cardiovascular Intermediate Care. You’ll oversee nursing and support staff, assign acuity-based workloads, and drive quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll contribute to staff development, participate in hiring and performance assessments, and ensure exceptional patient care while navigating a mission-driven Catholic health system.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire
• 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required

Responsibilities

• Direct, educate nursing and support staff to ensure peak shift performance.
• Assess daily patient needs to design optimized staff assignments.
• Evaluate care quality and proactively resolve threats to patient outcomes.
• Serve as front-line advocate to manage and resolve patient care concerns.
• Provide input on staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations
