Job summary

Hillspring of Springboro in Springboro, OH is seeking a Charge Nurse to assist the Nursing supervisor in total patient care and unit management. The role offers RN pay of $35–$41 per hour, with additional shift differentials for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include supervising STNAs, administering medications per orders, and ensuring compliance with policies while maintaining patient advocacy and quality care.

Qualifications

• Valid Nursing license in the state where the facility is located.
• Continuing education hours per licensure period.
• Experience with elderly care preferred.
• Willing to perform non-professional duties.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out administrative and patient care duties during shift.
• Supervises and assumes responsibility for STNA care.
• Interprets department policies to staff, medical staff, patients and public.
• Willing to work on unit as assigned by DON/ADON or Supervisor.
• Check 24-hour report sheet for changes in patient care needs.
• Conduct walking rounds and supervise NA care delivered.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Assist with admission/discharge processes and documentation.
