Job summary

Whitesboro Wellness and Rehab is seeking a night-shift LVN/LPN to provide nursing care from 10PM to 6AM. You will work within scope of practice, follow physician orders, and ensure care standards are met in line with policies and guidelines.

Qualified candidates hold a valid LVN/LPN license in Texas, current BLS/CPR, and have any nursing management experience preferred. We offer equal employment opportunity protections and a supportive care environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other noticeable changes.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring in programs.
• Documents and notifies departments of room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
