Job summary

Oaks of Longview is seeking an LVN/LPN nurse to provide care within the scope of practice and follow center policies. The role emphasizes accurate charting, incident reporting, and collaboration with physicians during rounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for charting and incident reporting.
• Follow procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Document changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other noticeable changes.
• Use the Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Make rounds with physicians when necessary.
