Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management in Denton, TX, seeks a licensed LVN/LPN to provide nursing care in accordance with standards, physician orders and center policies.

The candidate must hold a current LVN/LPN license with valid BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Nursing management experience is preferred but not required. You will follow established procedures for charting, reporting, and patient monitoring.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or other changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
