Job summary

Magnolia Creek Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care on a full-time basis in Oklahoma. This role emphasizes safety, wellness, and staff development, welcoming both RNs and LPNs who are licensed and CPR/First Aid certified.

You will manage nursing care, delegate tasks, monitor changes in patient conditions, supervise aides, and communicate with physicians as needed. Competitive benefits accompany this leadership position.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a Skilled Nursing facility or Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.
• Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.
• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
• Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made.
• Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for residents or staff members.

Required Experience and Education

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
• 1+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility or Long Term Care environment preferred.
