Job summary

Brookwood Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Oklahoma City seeks a Charge Nurse to lead the nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care. You will supervise care delivery, prioritize safety, and mentor staff to uphold our wellness standards.

The role requires an Oklahoma RN or LPN license, current First Aid and CPR, and at least 1 year in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care environment. We value strong communication and clinical oversight.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
• 1+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility or Long Term Care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.
• Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.
• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
• Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made.
• Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for residents or staff members.
• Inform physicians of any changes in residents’ progress, condition or medicinal needs.
