Job summary

Emanuel Medical Center is seeking a Nights Shift Manager RN to coordinate nursing staff and services during the night shift. The role reports to the Nursing Department Director and ensures patient care aligns with age/developmental needs while supporting administrative duties.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of acute care experience, active California RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and some managerial experience.

Qualifications

• Two to five years acute care experience or equivalent.
• RN license (CA) must be current.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services of staff to patients during the designated shift.
• Assess staff needs for the unit and collaborate with staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor.

Assures patient care is appropriate to the age and developmental level of patients served. Assesses staff need for the unit, collaborates with the staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to ensure patients needs are met. Supports Nursing Department Director on various administrative duties.

• Managerial experience preferred
• Current California RN license
