Job summary

National Health Care Associates is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse for a 7am-3pm shift at our West Hartford location. You will oversee nursing care to residents, implement care plans, administer medications, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN license.
• Compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care.
• Ability to supervise LPNs and CNAs in daily care.
• Strong clinical skills and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medical data.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
• Oversee and guide LPNs and CNAs in delivering care.
