Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate resident care.
• Administer Medications: Safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans per company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports for seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Educate staff on nursing policies and resident care needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote infection control and body mechanics procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to shortages by arranging replacement staff as necessary
