Heritage Place Decatur seeks a dedicated Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead resident care, supervise nurse aides, and maintain safety and quality in daily operations.

You will administer medications, implement care plans, document care, and collaborate on shift reports. RN or LVN in good standing, strong communication and emergency responsiveness required. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• RN or LVN in good standing
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills
• Strong communication and ability to organize workflows
• Responds efficiently to emergencies and pays attention to detail

Responsabilidades

• Direct care teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care
• Administer medications as prescribed safely
• Implement care plans in line with policies and physician orders
• Perform treatments to maintain resident health and comfort
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly
• Document resident care and complete nursing assessments
• Participate in shift reports to ensure care continuity
• Educate support staff on nursing policies and resident needs
• Maintain infection control and safe body mechanics
• Address staffing shortages by arranging replacements
