Parkview Manor is seeking a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care teams and ensure high-quality resident care. You will administer medications, implement care plans, and document care while collaborating during shift reports and educating staff on policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN or LVN license in good standing.
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and ability to organize workflows effectively.
• Responds efficiently to emergencies and pays attention to detail in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement care plans in line with policies and physician orders.
• Perform required treatments to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Document resident care and complete nursing assessments timely.
• Participate in shift reports to ensure care continuity.
• Educate staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain safety by following infection control and body mechanics procedures.
• Address staffing needs by arranging replacement staff when necessary.
