Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience.
• Valid Arizona Nursing License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• CPI certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and related credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurse manager/director with coordination and evaluation of patient care and staff.
• Manage unit activities in absence of the unit manager/director.
• Oversee staff assignments to meet patient care needs and unit priorities.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives on shift.
• Serve as unit representative on committees or task forces as assigned.
