Job summary

Carondelet Health Network's St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson seeks an experienced Charge Nurse (RN) to support the nurse manager in coordinating patient care, throughput, and staff performance on an assigned shift.

You will apply nursing processes and assign tasks to ensure safe, consistent care. With at least 1 year of RN experience and a current Arizona license, you will hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required by the department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience.
• Current Arizona Nursing License; BLS/ACLS/PALS per department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports and supervises patient care and unit needs during assigned shift.
• Assigns staff to meet patient care needs and monitors completion of tasks.
• Ensures staffing levels meet patient volumes and acuity; communicates with team.
• Contributes to quality initiatives and patient safety efforts on the unit.
