Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure current in Arizona.
• Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• CPI and NIHSS or department-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports and supervises patient care and unit needs during the shift.
• Assists nurse manager/director in coordination and evaluation of care.
• Assigns staff to meet patient needs and monitors unit assignments.
• Ensures effective communication with team members across shifts.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Mentors staff, supports precepting, and contributes to staff evaluations.
• Acts as a unit representative on committees as assigned.
