Job summary

Americare Senior Living seeks a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care within our skilled nursing community. You will oversee nursing services during assigned shifts, supervise caregiving teams, and ensure residents’ needs are met with professionalism and compliance with state, federal, and Americare standards.

You’ll serve as a key clinical resource, supporting care delivery and fostering a safe, respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services, administration, and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety.
