Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care within our skilled nursing community in Springfield, MO.

You will oversee nursing services during assigned shifts, supervise caregiving teams, and ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal standards while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical leadership and team supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Complete resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians and leadership.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are met.
• Report incidents and ensure supplies and medications are available.
