Job description

Role: Acute Care Charge Nurse (RN) responsible for leading and coordinating nursing care in an acute medicine unit.

• Responsibilities: Develops and implements complex individualized care plans, assesses patient data for early detection of changes, and collaborates with an interprofessional team to enhance patient outcomes. Leads quality improvement initiatives, advocates for evidence-based practices, and evaluates patient and family satisfaction. Acts as a clinical resource and supports safe patient care during night shifts.
• Qualifications: Requires 2+ years of RN experience, Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), and RN licensure. Experience leading or supervising is not mandatory.
• Skills: Strong clinical judgment, leadership abilities, knowledge of acute care practices, and commitment to safety and quality improvement.
• Key Duties: Oversee unit activities, facilitate care transitions, promote best practices, and contribute to a positive patient experience. Support staff and participate in ongoing education and practice advancement.
