Role: An Acute Care Charge Nurse (RN) provides leadership and direct patient care in a 24-bed Med Surg unit, managing patients with complex conditions such as blood dyscrasias, endocrine issues, heart and renal failure, and infectious diseases.

Responsibilities: Facilitates care coordination from hospitalization to discharge, develops and implements individualized care plans, promotes evidence-based practices, and enhances patient satisfaction. Acts as a clinical resource, assesses patient data, and collaborates with an interprofessional team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires 2-5 years of RN experience, preferably with a BSN degree. Must hold an active RN license. Strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment are essential.

Key Duties: Leads patient care activities, evaluates care standards, supports professional development, and fosters a culture of safety and quality improvement. Rotates weekends and works 12-hour night shifts.
