Job summary

BayCare Health System is hiring an experienced RN – Charge Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Neuro unit at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. This full-time day-shift role (6:45 AM–7:15 PM) includes every-other-weekend coverage and a leadership focus on oncology care, patient advocacy, and team development.

You will mentor staff, serve as charge nurse and preceptor, promote evidence-based practice, and communicate unit goals and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Position Overview

The RN Charge Nurse provides clinical and operational leadership for the unit, serving as a role model, preceptor, and clinical resource while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for oncology patients.
