Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an experienced RN – Charge Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Oncology unit at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. This full-time role is on Day Shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) with every other weekend and requires a strong clinical leader dedicated to oncology care and patient advocacy.

The RN Charge Nurse provides leadership, serves as a role model and preceptor, and supports clinical resources while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for oncology patients.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Position Overview

The RN Charge Nurse provides clinical and operational leadership for the unit, serving as a role model, preceptor, and clinical resource while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for oncology patients.
