Whispering Pines Lodge is seeking a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care teams and ensure high-quality resident care on site in Texas. The role emphasizes medication administration, care plan implementation, and accurate documentation in a dynamic setting.

Ideal candidates hold RN or LVN licensure in good standing, with strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills, plus the ability to respond quickly to emergencies and coordinate staffing as needed.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN license in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to organize workflows and communicate effectively
• Emergency responsiveness and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides for resident care
• Administer medications safely as prescribed
• Implement and monitor care plans per policies and orders
• Perform treatments as needed to support resident health
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly
• Document resident care and complete nursing assessments
• Participate in shift reports for care continuity
• Educate staff on nursing policies and resident needs
• Maintain safety through infection control and body mechanics
• Address staffing needs by arranging replacements when required
