Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities are required.
• Ability to respond efficiently to emergencies and maintain documentation integrity.

Responsibilities

• Direct care teams: supervise nurse aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement and monitor resident care plans per policies and physician orders.
• Perform treatments to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Document resident care and complete nursing assessments.
• Participate in shift reports to ensure care continuity.
• Educate staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain safety by following infection control and body mechanics.
• Address staffing needs by arranging replacements when necessary.
