Creative Solutions in Healthcare - South is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care teams and ensure high-quality resident care. You will supervise nurse aides, administer medications, execute care plans, and document assessments accurately in a dynamic facility setting.

The ideal candidate holds an RN or LVN license in good standing, demonstrates strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and responds efficiently to emergencies while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Is a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.
• Demonstrates excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to organize workflows effectively.
• Responds efficiently to emergencies and pays attention to detail in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
