Creative Solutions In HealthCare in Texas invites a Charge Nurse (LVN or RN) to lead care teams, oversee resident wellbeing, and ensure accurate documentation. This full-time role requires licensure, strong clinical skills, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

You will administer medications, implement care plans, perform treatments, and coordinate shift handoffs, while promoting safety and compliance with policies and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN license in good standing is required.
• Strong communication and organization skills are essential.
• Ability to respond efficiently to emergencies and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
