Seven Oaks Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead nursing care and coordinate resident well-being on site. You will supervise nurse aides, administer medications, and implement care plans in accordance with policies and physician orders.

The role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies while maintaining quality care and accurate documentation. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN license in good standing

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary
