Qualifications

• Must have a current LPN/LVN or RN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong patient-care and teamwork skills are required.
• Diligent documentation and communication with care team.

Responsibilities

• Conferring with the Medical Director and attending physician on residents assigned to you.
• Assisting the Director of Nursing in planning nursing services for residents.
• Helping team members grow their careers and development.
• Examining residents and records to identify early signs of health issues.
• Handling administrative duties for assigned residents, including forms and charting.

What You’ll be Doing

• Conferring with the Medical Director and the attending physician regarding specific residents assigned to you.
• Consulting with the physician concerning resident evaluation and assist the Director of Nursing in planning and developing the nursing services to be performed for the resident.
• Helping your team members grow their careers - you will change lives!
• Examining residents and their records and charts to distinguish between normal and abnormal findings in order to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional or mental problems.
• Performing administrative duties regarding assigned residents, such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
