Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Kentucky license as a Licensed Practical Nurse and have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to work night shift and coordinate unit activities.

Responsibilities

• Consistently model excellence in customer service with person-centered care delivery.
• Gives report to the oncoming shift and receives report from off-going shift nurse.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered.
• Maintains resident clinical records and updates care plans as status changes.
• Supervises nurse aide staff and ensures proper staffing and break times.
• Communicates with physicians and families regarding resident conditions and care outcomes.
• Participates in QAPI efforts and identifies improvement opportunities.
