Job summary

Boulevard Temple Care Center in Detroit, MI seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide, oversee, and coordinate resident care during assigned shifts under the direction of the Director of Nursing. The role includes clinical supervision of nursing assistants and ensuring continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.
• Current state license to practice as an LPN.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
