Kruse Village is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse LVN to provide clinical care to residents in our skilled nursing facility. You will lead and mentor care team members, coordinate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team, and ensure compliance with resident care plans.

Active Texas LVN license and CPR certification are required. Prior experience in skilled nursing is preferred, and we offer competitive hourly pay with shift differentials and opportunities for career growth.

About the Role:

We're seeking a dedicated LVN to join our team as a Charge Nurse, providing clinical care to our residents in our skilled nursing facility. As a Charge Nurse, you'll be responsible for leading and supporting our care team, as well as mentoring new staff and sharing your knowledge with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and community policies.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and intervene as needed to ensure health and safety.
• Support CNAs and other direct care staff to ensure consistent, quality care.
• Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care planning, resident assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

• Active LVN license in the state of Texas.
• CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.
• Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout a full shift.
