Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated nursing leader to oversee resident care in a Skilled Nursing Facility on a PRN/as-needed basis. The role emphasizes compassionate care, strong communication, and adherence to state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).

Responsibilities

• Conduct the daily nursing functions in accordance with rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with documentation.
• Participate in orientation of new residents/family members to the facility.
• Participate in facility surveys as scheduled.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, positive clinical outcomes, and resident/family satisfaction.
• Coordinate shift assignments and rest/meal breaks for CNAs.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide timely, effective care.
• Stays beyond scheduled shift to meet staffing requirements and needs of residents.
