Job summary

Ohio Living Quaker Heights is seeking a Charge Nurse (LPN or RN) to supervise the daily nursing activities and ensure high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting. The role involves coordinating with nursing assistants, physicians, and care teams to implement plans of care and monitor patient conditions.

Qualified candidates hold an Ohio license as LPN or RN, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered license for the state of Ohio to practice as an LPN or RN.
• One year of clinical experience in a hospital, long term care facility, or other related health care facility preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a long-term care, hospital, or other related healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs in accordance with facility standards.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Represent the nursing department in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings and coordinate care.
• Supervises CNAs and ensures staffing and quality care throughout shift.
• Ensures adherence to policies, safety, and regulatory requirements.
