Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Ohio LPN license required.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Excellent reading, writing, and spoken English required.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing activities and assign tasks to CNAs.
• Coordinate nursing services to ensure continuity of resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and standards.
• Represent the nursing department in care plan meetings and answer questions.
• Attend meetings and participate in improvement initiatives.
• Lead and supervise nursing staff to meet quality standards.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians and families.
