Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners FPACP in Pasadena, Texas is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead nursing care for residents and supervise licensed and non-professional staff. You will ensure high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

You will coordinate with the care team, document vital signs, manage care plans, and respond to emergencies while maintaining infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LVN or RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal or written instructions in English.
• Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform required physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with nursing practices and directives from the Director of Nursing.
• Lead or direct licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of resident care.
• Maintain infection-control policies and procedures.
• Record vital signs and document changes; update care plans accordingly.
• Communicate with patients and families and collaborate with health care team to implement the care plan.
