Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital seeks a Charge Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift. The role requires current Georgia RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and ED hospital experience. A sign-on bonus of $15,000 is available for experienced nurses.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.
• Previous ED experience required.
• Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS and ACLS Certification is required.
• Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
